Shipping Eggs from Sugar Feather Farm
Before purchasing hatching eggs from us, please be aware of and agree to our hatching eggs policy.
Shipping eggs comes with risks. For a guaranteed number of live fowl, consider buying live babies.
Damaged eggs during shipment are nonrefundable, but we can help file a claim with USPS if the package is mishandled. To file a claim, take photos of the damaged eggs and box, and email them to us within 24 hours of delivery.
We ship all hatching eggs via USPS with two shipping speed options for you to choose from.
USPS Standard Priority Mail: 2-5 days delivery with insurance coverage up to $50.
Priority Mail Express: Guaranteed delivery within 1-3 days with insurance coverage up to $100.
We typically ship eggs on Tuesdays and may ship on other days during busy periods. Rest assured, we collect only the freshest eggs. For the best freshness, we recommend choosing Priority Express shipping.
Our farm prides itself on maintaining healthy birds fed a high-quality diet, resulting in strong eggs that ship well. Factors like USPS handling, temperature changes, and your incubation methods can impact hatch rates. We conduct weekly fertility tests but cannot guarantee outcomes once eggs leave our farm. While we package eggs securely to minimize breakage, rough handling during shipping may occur.
Please note, you can't determine fertilization by candling or cracking open eggs post-incubation. Explore our hatching eggs literature and view egg candling pictures for more information.
